Parry Sound Area CB&DC Community Futures - Helping Small Business Succeed!
The Parry Sound Area Community Business & Development Centre (CB&DC) is a not-for-profit Community Futures organization, dedicated to fostering community economic development and helping small businesses succeed. Guided by a local volunteer board of directors and supported by professional staff, we provide business advice, financing, and planning services that strengthen our region’s economy.
Through our lending program, we offer flexible financing for new and existing businesses — whether you’re starting up, expanding, or stabilizing. These locally managed investment funds are designed to create and maintain jobs, and every lending decision is made right here in our community.
With support from FedNor, we work alongside entrepreneurs and community partners to encourage innovation, spark growth, and build a vibrant future for the Parry Sound area.
Did you know? Since opening our doors in 1987 the CB&DC has approved over 539 loans, valued at over 47 million dollars. and has supported the creation or maintenance of 2292 jobs in the local area.
